🚨CENTRE CLOSURE: Easter Sunday, 20th April.🚨 🚨CENTRE CLOSURE: Easter Sunday, 20th April.🚨 Some of our followers may not be aware that Oakwood is a Christian charity and so the time of Easter holds particular significance, for us, many of our staff, and some members of our climbing community. For many, Easter marks a celebration of new life and for us as Christians, it is a time of year when we remember Jesus’ sacrifice and death and celebrate His resurrection. This is something that lies at the very heart of our faith and so to create space for anyone who wishes to celebrate, the centre will remain closed on Easter Sunday. We will also be following our bank holiday opening times on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

The start of March means there’s less than a month until The Mighty Oak competition -if you haven’t booked your tickets yet, what are you waiting for? There will be some setting disruption in the lead up to this event (sorry!) as we reset the whole centre for the competition. We will always leave some walls open to climb, but there won’t be as much selection as usual, so make sure you take this into account when planning your sessions!
