PRE-REGISTRATION

Oakwood Climbing Centre is dedicated to creating a safe environment for all participants at our facilities.

Climbing is inherently dangerous. It is therefore our requirement that all participants sign a liability release or have a current copy on file.

To mitigate for the inherent risk of the sport and to create a safe and enjoyable environment, we carry out competency tests and require all climbers to either pass these, or be supervised by someone who has whilst climbing in our centre.

To save time during check-in, fill out the relevant online pre-registration below. Participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver filled out by their legal guardian.

Our Public Waiver is for anyone who:

– is intending to climb without a qualified instructor

– is planning to supervise someone climbing

– is attending a Beginners Course

Our Instructor Led Session Waiver is for anyone who has not visited our centre before and is attending an instructor led session.

For Beginners Courses, please fill out the Public Waiver instead

The Roots Youth Group Waiver is for young people attending our Roots Youth Group sessions and must be filled out by the parent/legal guardian of this individual.

The External Group Waiver is for external instructors who have provided us with the relevant qualifications and documents to independently lead a group within the centre.

This waiver must be filled out for minors on every visit.

Adults must fill in their own Public Session Waiver.
