Pre-Registration Form and Video

Oakwood Climbing Centre is dedicated to creating a safe environment for all participants at our facilities. Climbing is inherently dangerous. Safe practice requires the active involvement of both the climber and the belayer, which dictates the need for personal responsibility. It is therefore our requirement that all participants sign a liability release. Our rules and belay tests have been developed to help us evaluate and minimise the potential for climber or belayer error, but they are weak substitutes for attentiveness and appreciation of the responsibilities we all have for our own safety.

Each participant must sign a liability waiver or have a current copy on file in order to be in the gym. To save time during check-in, fill out our online pre-registration now. Participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver filled out by their legal guardian.

If you are accessing our centre, you MUST have completed a form as a participant, even if you are not climbing yourself.

Our Public Waiver Covers anyone who is intending to climb without a qualified instructor or anyone who is hoping to supervise someone climbing. Please use the link below to access the form and video:

If you have not visited our centre before and are on an instructor led session please fill out the below form.

For beginners courses and boulder inductions, please fill out the Public User Registration form.

The external group form is to be filled out by an external instructor who has provided us with the relevant qualifications and documents to take a group in. This must be filled out for minors on every visit. Adults must fill in their own instructor led form.

For any sessions booked through the centre please fill out the relevant instructor-led form
