Summer Boulder league out now! All you need to d Summer Boulder league out now! All you need to do is log your climbs on Griptonite to enter! Points are awarded for each bloc you complete, dependent on how many climbers have topped it. (Each climb is 1000 points divided by the amount of people who have done it) The more tickets you have, the greater your chance of winning a prize! Round 01 -28/07/26 until 23/08/26 Round 02- 25/08/26 - 20/09/26 Final round- kicking off with the Last of the Summer Climb outdoor boulder event
Oakwood's Summer Boulder League is back! The las Oakwood's Summer Boulder League is back! The last set of blocs to climb will be available at our summer party: Last Of The Summer Climb! Log your climbs on Griptonite to enter! You will get points for each bloc you complete, which will be higher or lower, depending on how many other people have finished that climb. Your point total will be translated into tickets in a lottery system. The more tickets you have, the greater your chance of winning a prize! Points are accumulated over the 2 rounds
Big news! We've joined the Independent Climbing Wa Big news! We've joined the Independent Climbing Wall Collective (ICWC) - a new not-for-profit network of independent climbing walls across the UK. What's in it for you? Oakwood members now get one free visit per month to any other wall in the Collective! Why we joined At Oakwood, our whole purpose is to benefit the local community. The ICWC is about independent walls supporting each other so that local, community-run spaces can keep thriving. We're proud to be part of it.
If you have sensory needs, or simply prefer a quie If you have sensory needs, or simply prefer a quieter climb, this session is for you. This summer we're trialling Quiet Sessions - Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:00–10:00am, an hour before the centre opens to the public. Please make sure you book in advance if you'd like to come, by following the link in our bio. You're welcome to keep climbing for as long as you like past 10, but from this point this centre will be open to the public as usual.
